The Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge is a national science competition for middle school students. DEYSC was created by Discovery Communications, Inc., the parent company of the Discovery Channel, to encourage the exploration of science among America’s young people. Discovery, in partnership with the 3M Company, recognizes young scientists for their skills in science and, just as importantly, science communication.
